CORONAVIRUS – AND THE LEICESTER LOCKDOWN
30th June 2020
The coronavirus still continues to impact almost all aspects of our daily life and whilst most of England is looking forward to a relaxation of the lockdown rules at the weekend with the possibility of a cold beer at their local, the City of Leicester, and several surrounding areas, have instead been informed that their lockdown rules will be tightened.
Although this may be a disappointment to many of our clients and our staff, I’d like to reassure you that, although the Rowley Turton office is within the lockdown area, the tightening of the lockdown rules in Leicester will have no real impact on our business practices which will continue as they have been working for the last three months or so.
The office reception will remain unmanned for most of the week, although one or two members of staff may be working from the office in order to deal with posts, etc.
A remote reception will answer the phone. Whilst normally you'd be put you through directly to the appropriate staff member, now that staff member will have to call you back. However, this is anticipated to be only a temporary measure as we're hoping to have our new phone systems up and running on the 8th of July when we move into our new office.
Our robust internal processes mean that the above measures will have no effect on our ability to act for you and Rowley Turton will continue to look after you during the current situation.
We had originally hoped that it would be possible for us to reinstate face-to-face meetings at some point but, given the latest government guidance, this will not be happening for some time. However, Alan, Scott, and Martin will still be available by telephone or video call.
I would reassure you that we remain committed to delivering first-class financial advice and we are continuing to look to the future with the office move planned to complete on the 8th of July.
We are keeping things as close to ‘business as usual’ as possible but if you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with us. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0116 282 2177.
